Why was he not dismissed and jailed after the Rhode island incidents?

Or is this just another case of the hierarchy reshuffling their child-molesting priests?

They reshuffle them all. I think Cardinal Law might have gone to prison if he’d stayed here. That’s why he’s now in Rome.

As for jailing him, that's a question for the D.A. The Church doesn't run any jails. :-0

I don't know what it is but part of the problem is that there are people that actually think these people can be "fixed"...( I think they are homosexual men and they can't be fixed but that's just me.)...another problem is that people think that criminals and sinners should be "forgiven" and "second chances " and all that crap....

not me.....boot them out and keep them out.....they violated any trust between the Church and themselves....

frankly, I haven't been to a regular church Mass since our diocese started collecting to pay off the lawyers and the accusers.....the lawyers made out really good....
