I’ve lost an aunt to breast cancer, and my mother in law is currently struggling to live with stage-4 breast cancer. I ran/walked as a fundraiser for Komen once many years ago, but as soon as I heard about how they choose to spend their funds, it stopped.

I am much, much, much more careful about where my charitable giving goes. Finding a good church is the best way to make sure your contributions go to truly good works.

Sorry for your family sorrows.
The churches are the best way.

That’s right! I give to Samaritan’s Purse, 700 Club and other good Christian groups who get the money where they need to go. I also give to Salvation Army and the Rescue Mission around the holidays. You can’t trust secular groups.
