Planned Parenthood isn’t as low cost as they’d like you to believe. I was charged $150 for a gyno exam by PP but at my county hospital $20. They make a lot of money off government money from birth control pills and patches too. I wonder if Avon Foundation supports them. I tend to stay away from supporting many cancer foundations because the money doesn’t go towards alternative/complementary healing treatments. I do know Avon does support adult stem cell research for sure.
Wish I didn’t visit this thread. It’s actually raising new irritation at how the core issues don’t seem to be addressed. The nurse practionier that saw me was very nice but still... I kinda cringed when I saw teenagers signing up for the depo shot. FWIW, the PP I went to only performed first trimester abortions and there used to be protestors in front but they’ve disappeared (probably gone to heaven now as they were mostly elderly men go figure).
