How absolutely precious. What is that ball thing, Meg, and what is that sticking out? My eyes are deceiving me this morning!!
Hi Ladies. Great photos, 78 and 81. I couldn’t guess that was a fountain either, but the picture is so precious. The garden looks to be a paradise for the birdies. And the red-headed birds remind me of the silly finches that set up a fuss out here yesterday morning.
There was a huge racket as the sun rose bright and warm. I looked out and some finches were trying to feed at the Hummingbird feeder. It’s a “hover-only” feeder so all they could manage was to knock it around a bit. Momma ran them off anyway. A large male (red-headed) finch did linger close to the nest but gradually withdrew. Whew, high drama:):)
The babies say Hi to the Aunties:):)
Meg that is such a sweet picture - the colors are gorgeous and the hummingbird! They are the most amazing little birds, aren’t they!
