If the government is going to tax, monitor and control everything in a citizen’s life, then they have an obligation to look after the citizen from cradle to grave; this is Daddy Obama’s message. Daddy Obama is so impressive that he causes swooning on the part of his followers. Make no mistake, these are not simply supporters; those who fall under Daddy Obama’s spell are morphed into devotees who are worshipping at the alter of Barack. This man cultivates the image and is successfully envisioned as everyone’s Daddy who has graciously offered himself in the position of President. The man can do no wrong.
The difference between Daddy Obama and Hillary is simple yet difficult to articulate. Hillary wants power for the sake of power at the expense of individual freedom. Daddy Obama really believes his own press! He would become the Daddy, not the President of the Nation if elected. That’s all there is to it! This makes Barack believable and shows Hillary as the bitter, vicious hateful witch that everyone knows her to be. It’s that simple. He’s popular, she’s not. No one, other than the “in your face”, fellow left wing socialists has ever liked Hillary to begin with so her demise is received with glee as well as relief by the electorate.
The Republican’s have never faced an adversary like this before. The Republican Leadership has become so identical to the Democrats that they have very little in their ideological arsenal to fight off the Obama tidal wave that is headed their way. The best the Republicans have to offer will be a good President; one that is responsible, hard working, impressive and stalwart. They don’t have a Daddy to offer and from all appearances, this is what the Country craves. Daddy Obama’s message is striking a chord that Freedom loving people fear. In John McCain they have a consensus builder who would rather reach across the isle than defend individual rights but he does not come off like a Daddy. He comes off as Democratic want-to-be.
Nine months out from the 2008 election, no one really knows who Obama is yet he has garnered the loyalty, admiration and dedication of the majority of the US citizenry. Judging from the precious little he has presented in terms of his political goals, he would be a disaster at leadership and would signify the end of “The American way” as we know it. For Daddy Obama, there is no issue that additional tax money won’t cure. This does not even seem to be a point of contention with a people who are already paying excessive taxes. They view Daddy Obama’s message as simply more honest and comprehensive that messages touting the appearance of Freedom.
His foreign policy, starting with the bombing of Pakistan and the removal of troops from Iraq is so obviously dangerous that it is fearsome. As a Daddy, he can perpetuate these types of scenarios, as a President, he would plunge America into her darkest hour. To date, no one has publicized the source of his campaign funding. Who backs Daddy Obama with their wallet? The gay rights, anti- war and Muslim contingencies have probably pledged their support initially; however, they did not sustain a campaign of this magnitude. No one seems to know and worse yet, no one is asking who Daddy Obama is beholding to.
The Republicans can take credit for the creation of Daddy Obama. They have lost their bearings in terms of corruption, spending and individual rights over the last quarter century and paved the road for an anomaly like Daddy Obama. Given a choice of Freedom or a Nanny State, American’s are flocking toward the Nanny State. There is really not a lot of choice now that America has dominated, usurped and taxed almost all individual freedom left in the Country. We are still allowed to vote but offerings like the Super Delegates and a variety of un-Constitutional rules are even eroding that! An extreme Nanny State is simply an extension of the path we’re already on! Why take the time to get there when Daddy Obama offers a short cut that makes everyone feel as though they are keeping up with the Europeans? Had the Republicans done those things they were elected to do IE reduce taxes, return authority to the States and protect the individual from excessive government, American’s would have had a choice.
Make no mistake. Daddy Obama will earn this election; he won’t simply take it as was the goal of Hillary when she was assumed to be the Democratic frontrunner. When he does, any pretense of individual rights will be a memory. The Jesse Jackson(s) and rev. Al(s) of this world have done their best to make race the front and center issue of all things involving a black person. To his credit, Daddy Obama is above racial tensions and has neither evoked nor shunned references to his race. His ethnic origins, beginning with his father’s religious affiliations, have been far more a topic of concern than his race. From all appearances, Daddy Obama means exactly what he says and relies on not having to say more than is convenient to win. His strategies are brilliant, his demeanor is attractive and his message is simple. He offers a Daddy to people who want to be nurtured. It is the people who experience a sense of hopelessness and this will be the trump card in the 2008 election.

Obama Proposes “Labor Battalions” [semi-satire]
In a move the candidate characterized as having the dual purpose of restoring “a sense of community” and “combating obesity,” Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill) said one of his first policy initiatives if he is elected president will be to ask for legislation establishing government-run “labor battalions” wherein people will be called upon to “toil for the collective benefit of society.”
“Americans have become too self-centered, too greedy,” Obama said. “This isn’t their fault. Our society doesn’t insist that they put aside their petty personal concerns for the good of the whole. As president I will be giving Americans the opportunity to do just that.”
While all the details of this proposal haven’t been laid out, the gist of the plan calls for every working American to contribute one month a year to community projects. “People will get their hands dirty investing their sweat for a better America,” Obama rhapsodized. “They’ll be out in the fresh air getting exercise, too.”
Those reluctant to contribute to the effort “will be asked to attend special education sessions to try to help them overcome their selfish aversion to work for the common good,” Obama continued. “We will change America, one soul at a time if that’s what it takes.”
