It can’t be reformed from the inside either, or it already would be. Sometimes a door has to close for a window to open.

“I vote republican when they have something to sell that I want. The last thing I bought from the republicans was a huge disappointment. I allowed myself to be influenced by posters like you claiming we had to vote for your evil crud, to stop their evil crud, and in the end we got evil crud.”

And you are now convinced that we were wrong. You would have been better off to vote for Al Gore or John Kerry how exactly?

“I vote republican when they have something to sell that I want.”

Here’s your real probelem. You are waiting to be dictated to, or pandered to and only when someone says something you like hearing do you act???

That’s not what the founders had in mind, was it?

If I recall correctly, and I do, the lapdogs here were screaming how Jorge the Mexican was the second coming, that he was THE most conservative guy since George Washington and we had to vote for him to save the world from Al Gore.

They covered up his weak-kneed, liberal, open borders agenda with the same tactics as some are using to push McMainiac now.

Screw em.

Hell, I thought he was conservative the first time (actually second for me because I voted for him for Gov.). I voted Constitution Party the second time. I’m done with RINO’s.

“No we have established what you are. Someone of no principal, a go along to get along, follow the easy road, I’ll take whatever you dish out and say yes sir, in short a boot licker, an Open borders lefty supporting loon.”

So you say, a man committed to an Obama-Clinton White House and a giant leap into socialism on a level that will make McCain look like Teddy Roosevelt...

Sell you nonsense to people who will buy it loser. It is YOU who is promising socialism, open borders, the end to America as we know it, by electing one of two well-known Marxists, not me.

You call this “conservatism?”

All the candidates in both wings of the party who made any distance were/are funded by Soros.

As far as I can tell, the only one who didn’t was the one they shut out from the very beginning, Hunter.

Is backing a Dem-lite RINO conservatism? If McCain was a Dem would you still vote for him?

When Smith and Wesson turned against gun owners, we cut off its food source and left it to die.

Eventually, when it withered, it was bought out for pennies on the original dollar by correct thinking employees and turned right around.

This abomination the republican party has turned into must suffer the same fate.

The Republican Party must die!

I see only that we will have one of three people sitting in the White House less than a year from now.

Clinton - A Lenin Communist She Devil from America’s best known crime family and her playboy Marxist husband who set America up for 9/11 and a Nuclear China, North Korea and Iran.

Obama - The Muslim Marxist planning to force America into retreat and defeat in the war on terror and bankruptcy to boot. The Elvis of modern politics who isn’t qualified to by scout master, but makes a great Manchurian Candidate for Teddy Kennedy and Bin Laden.

McCain - My least favorite Republican on earth, who will do his fair share of harm as well, unless we manage a conservative senate this fall, but will still leave America able to recover four years from now.

You think I’m missing something here? What?

Like you, I can do something all wrong or something half right. Half-right beats all wrong every day of the week. Too bad so many conservatives have allowed their emotions to get in the way of their common sense. That’s how liberals live every day... Now some conservatives do too.

That’s EXACTLY what the founders had in mind. They did not envision a two party monopoly on the presidential contenders.

The parties are vendors, selling something, we are not born into slavery to a political party. They have to offer something we want or believe in to EARN our votes. The republican party is offering us a crazy, old, corrupt, socialist, enemy of the Constitution in a weak disguise.

They can ride the McMainiac Express to hell without me.

I understand, completely. Voting is not only who you vote for, but who you elect.

I was willing to go for Rudy because he was a fighter against the MSM/DNC, and never heard him say a disparaging word against this Pres, Republicans, or the war, even when asked about mistakes, he answered without giving our enemies comfort. (I also met him once in 98 when he was here campaigning for my pro-life congressmen, so I never got the idea he was working against us, more like an agnostic on social issues (not good I know)

Anyway, so you see, I have certainly not been a strictly principled in my choices of candidates this year, and hold a minority status here in that regard.

And sadly, we even lost Duncan and Fred, even Romney could have been a good paid mercenary for us, lol.

All I ask for at this point, is a ruthless SOB to battle the enemy abroad and at home. Can McCain give us that in a VP, at least?

Agreed , day in and day out we put up with the same old bull from the mccain cool-aide drinkers. Tying to force people to vote for the fool mccain. I did not ask him to run and have never signed a paper saying I would blindly support anyone.

If conservatives sit home in record numbers this year and allow that open borders amnesty bastard to lose, what lesson do you think that the Republican Party elites will take from that?

If conservatives on the other hand throw away those pesky principles like so much offal, and vote the man POTUS, what lesson THEN will the Republican elites take from that?

Thank you.

“Those who voted for Bush or those who voted against Bush, taking the third party escape from responsibility hatch?”

Bush lost because he deserved to lose.

Why do you feel it necessary to keep regurgitating the same obvious truth that both McCain and the current RNC leadership suck? Do you see anyone here debating those issues? I don’t?

But how do we best make chicken salad out of chicken scratch? How is repeating yourself productive? How does putting Obama or Clinton in the White House a positive event in the grand scheme of the conservative movement?
