The invader was bringing the money INTO the US?

Authorities should check Western Union records to see if this guy originally wired the millions from the US to Mexico.....a scheme to launder monies from illegal activities..........before bringing it back here.

Keep in mind, the invaders use multiple identities-—authorities need to check the paper trail he and his spouse left in the US.

The two of them musta used several identities to collect multiple welfare checks, UI, disability, Workmen’s Comp, SSI disability checks, and multiple $3500 EITC refunds. And probably collecting ADD checks for the kid-—a common scam the invaders pull.

Western Union and other money transfer outfits should be nailed for banking and currency fraud——for illegally converting monies from illegal activities.

REFERENCE Mexico's President Calderon Headed to U.S.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon, who has has publicly stated his concern for the "growing harassment" and "frank persecution" of Mexicans in the United States, will make his first official visit to California Wednesday and will meet with immigrant leaders among others. Speaking to the Mexican government's migrant assistance agency in November, his comments about "persecution" appear to have been aimed at U.S. presidential candidates who voiced their desire to curb illegal immigration. He also expressed disappointment at Congress' inability to agree on an immigration reform measure. While in the Golden State, he will address the state Legislature and attend a private lunch meeting with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, and other officials. According to George Grayson, a government professor at the College of William and Mary in Virginia who specializes in Mexico, Calderon also is coming to the United States to apply political pressure on U.S. lawmakers. ---SNIP--Calderon wants his 1.4 billion in US taxpayer loot - no questions asked. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1969534/posts

Five-year Amnesty Bill Under Discussion
NumbersUSA | 2/18/08 | N/A
Posted on 02/18/2008 by Kimberly GG

"Some House Democrats are having behind-the-scenes discussions about creating a special visa for illegal aliens they believe will enjoy considerable Republican support. Under the plan, illegal aliens who can prove they have jobs, pay a fine, and pass a criminal background heck will receive the gift of legal status for 5 years. The plan is designed to attract pro-business Republicans and those who backed the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill by also increasing the number of visas issued for technical, temporary and agricultural workers."........(Excerpt) Read more at numbersusa.com

And did you notice?

Whenever McCain talks about amnesty (and the Hundred Years War), his posture changes——like his leash is being tightened.

Keep in mind Fox pundit Kristol, his daddy, and that bunch, are the architects of the current admin’s most failed policies-—including amnesty.

When Giuliani, their hand-picked candidate tanked like a deadweight going down a 300 ft cistern, Little Billy got out the leash.........and showed McCain the Queen of Diamonds.

There are legal mechanisms in place for transporting currency across international boundaries. The cash was purposely concealed from lawful customs declaration. If you're going to thump the Constitution at least try to do it intelligently. No customs or border control, no country.

Unfortunately, the "legal mechanism in place" is that the JBTs can seize any large amount of currency they find, without even having a reason and without any due process. LEOs can even use seized cash for their own purposes, such as buying expensive paramilitary police gear that the local taxpayers otherwise wouldn't be inclined to bestow upon them. This feature alone creates an obvious conflict of interest.

If we still had actual rights, property seizures would be the result of court judgements, not a pre-emptive strike by local law enforcement. Yes, carrying large amounts of cash can properly arouse suspicion (as in the case at hand), but suspicion should be cause to start an investigation, not summary judgement meted out by someone who is not a judge or jury.

If Customs has real reason to be suspicious of tis man, then let them press charges and hold the cash as evidence to be judged at the trial of an actual human suspect. Anyone who seriously believes that this "United States vs $1.9 million" crap has any moral validity should be horsewhipped.

I cannot find any variation on the AP story yet, but obviously there is an investigation underway as to the details of the case. Detaining the suspect does not mean he has been convicted. However, as I said up thread, we rarely hear the follow-through on these cases.

George McFly: Lorraine, my density has bought me to you.
Lorraine Baines: What?
George McFly: Oh, what I meant to say was...
Lorraine Baines: Wait a minute, don't I know you from somewhere?
George McFly: Yes. Yes. I'm George, George McFly. I'm your density. I mean... your destiny.

Boy, I didn’t know carbon offsets for an SUV would cost so much.
