I can’t agree with Ed on this one either. First of all, Obama has experienced madrassa education during formative years. A madrassa that includes Wahabbism.
Secondly, Obama has history with Farrakhan. He’s renounced it for campaign reasons, but it’s not like it never existed and couldn’t redevelop into friendliness again, once elected.
As for McCain, he showed weakness IMO, not strength. At minimum he was grandstanding. He’s setting himself up to not be able to say ANYTHING negative about Hussein O. Even if it’s policy related.
