Had to post this thread because I got tired of reading about McCain's class (on this
thread) by some Candi-Freepers (recent posters who have signed up on FR for the singular purpose of promoting their candidates). It is quite obvious that McCain's class only extends to democrats; the man has no decency whatsoever when it comes to fellow Republicans.

Get ready to see the footage of McCain’s Greatest Hits on heavy rotation in campaign ads and TV newsmagazines.

Let’s see...what do all these incidents have in common? Oh, that’s right - his rage is always directed at a fellow Republican.

McCain thinks he is better than everyone else. Only he gets to criticize.

And then they cut to the ad LBJ used against Goldwater with the little girl picking daisies in the field and getting nuked. Ads to make Hillary or Obama look like a reasonable choice for commander-in-chief.

If McCain is the nominee and Obama is the democrat nominee, I will gladly cast my vote for him, temper issues and all over the democrat that will not place his hand over his heart and pledge allegiance to our flag during the national anthem or wear a U.S. flag pin on his lapel. McCain is very flawed but anger commanding our armed forces, the strongest in the world, is much better than someone that has no allegiance to this country.

Maybe a president with a temper is what is needed when dealing with recalcitrant foreign leaders and their diplomatic shills.
Vyacheslav Molotov got told off once in what Merle Miller called "Good old-fashioned blunt Missouri language" by an irate Harry Truman during a meeting at the White House in 1948.
During our own Revolution at Monmouth, future president George Washington was dismayed at a retreat called by General Lee. Washington rode to Lee and fired him on the spot. One of the writers of the time wrote that Washington "hurled a stream of profanities at Lee like thunderbolts from Zeus. The angry swearing shook the leaves from the trees..."

McCain scuffling with a 90+ year old man on the Senate floor is classless, bullying, and shows that he is unfit for command. The GOP has damned itself with this candidate.

Dem nominee will wait until after the conventions and near the November election to try to get a McCain explosion on the news.
