Obama slammed by speakers at McCain rally ( McCain repudiates the Speakers...???)

McCain says he will 'absolutely repudiate' comments by an introductory speaker who says Obama sympathizes with 'world leaders who want to kill us.'

CINCINNATI -- In a possible foreshadowing of a potentially bruising general election campaign, a speaker who introduced presidential candidate John McCain at a rally here today accused Barack Obama of sympathizing with "world leaders who want to kill us" and invoked Obama's middle name -- three times calling him "Barack Hussein Obama."

Local conservative radio talk show host Bill Cunningham described Obama as "a hack Chicago Daley-style politician who is picturing himself as change. When he gets done with you -- all you're going to have in your pocket is change," he said.

McCain quickly distanced himself from the remarks, which he did not hear, saying that using Obama's middle name in repetition like that was inappropriate. "I absolutely repudiate such comments and again, I will take responsibility," he said, calling the use of Obama's middle name inappropriate. "It will never happen again. It will never happen again."

Cunningham, warming up a crowd of about 400 people in the ornate green and gold Hamilton County Memorial Hall before McCain's arrival, accused the "stooges from the New York Times" and "sycophants in the media" of conspiring to elect Obama.

invoked Obama's middle name -- three times calling him "Barack Hussein Obama."

Cunningham is a local guy, high school basketball hero, lawyer turned talk show host, conservative, and quick-witted. His shtick is rapid, over-the-top sarcasm. He is very good at it.

It's a shame that McCain didn't just ignore this one. He comes across around here as a wimp.

It's hardly the end of the world to call Hussein by his actual middle name, to say he's part of the Chicago-Daley mob (which he is), and to say that this on-the-record, Islamo-sypathizer is an Islamo-sypathizer.

I truly fear for this nation.

Wish we had a different candidate.

Is it too late for Mccain to add using a presidential candidates middle name to Mccain - Feingold?

If McCain thinks he’s going to win the election based on who has the more likeable persona, then he should drop out now and release all his delegates.

Huh, and I guess in your world there was never a President Ronald Reagan.

McCain fails to get into the rally spirit. Yet we are supposed to get fired up over him.

Reagan was likable, that's why he was credible when being nice. McCain is not likable. His appeal is as a bad-a**ed maverick. That's why putting on a likable persona is not credible.

But I guess someone who can't tell the difference between immigrants and illegal aliens couldn't understand.

“He comes across here as a wimp.”
Well, that’s your opinion.

My opinion is McCain behaved like a responsible national leader whereas Cunningham behaved like a irresponsible local demagogue.

What do presidents and serial killers have in common?

The most infamous have three names:

William Jefferson Clinton
John Wayne Gassey

If Reagan were running today and stated his 11th commandment(thou shall be speak ill of a fellow Republican) you all would be having kniption fits, IMO.

And yes no doubt, Bill Cunningham probably considers himself a conservative first, and not a Republican, so Reagan's 11th commandemnt does not pertain to him.

McPain wouldn't want to offend any one of his elitist friends in the U.S. senate ... particularly a 'rat. This same emphasis was put on Obama's middle name (Hussein) at a Hildabeast rally earlier in the campaign season by none other than former senator Kerrey of Nebraska ... it was considered nothing more than a political tweak by the liberal MSM.
Of course Kerrey is a screaming liberal so it's OK ...

Dane, the 11th commandment pertains only to other Republican candidates. McCain blasted Romney mercilessly. Those were Democrats who McCain came to defend and apologize for.

Reagan is rolling over in his eternal sleep right now.

Get back to me when Bill Cunningham declares himself a Republican. He's probably like you and declares himself a conservative first, so Reagan's 11th commandment does not pertain to him.

Yeah, the gutless Rinos are coming out of the Rat nests all over the place around here.

What is irresponsible about calling Hussein, Hussein?

What is irresponsible about referring to known a political machine as a known political machine?

What is irresponsible about saying an Islamo-sympathizer is an Islamo-sympathizer?

I’m really, really peeved at being in the same party as a bunch of gutless wonders.
