Wasting your time, man. National security is NOT a good enough reason to get anti-McCainites off their pretentious butts.

Actually, it is. When McCain shows me he is serious about national security, i.e. illegal immigration, and acts like he wants Conservatives to vote for him, perhaps some will.

It's HIS job to earn my support. I'll be as loyal to him as he was to the Republican Party.

You got that right, and identifying people that do not yet feel comfortable supporting McCain as pretentious; sure as hell isn’t going to be helpful in gaining their support.

So illegal immigration issue = national security? Nothing more to it than that? Right.

Personally not having a President who will deliberately lose another war - to jihadis no less - is pretty important to me. Not to mention things like his positions on national defense.
