WOW! I'm completely shocked! I really, really thought that muzzie invaders would get protected status until they took out one of our major cities.

Sooooo many of our problems are owing to illegal immigration:

Paper boys learning a work ethic? They're gone, replaced by illegal adults driving battered jalopies in the early morning hours. Same for McD's, theater ticket-takers, gas-pumpers, many others.

And that's completely apart from the Muzzie America-haters, who are openly preached hate in US mosques.

What do you do when the national patient is DETERMINED to die?

Well, at least here is one time when we appear to be fighting back. KUDOS, but I really doubt it will last...

All of those are why anyone with a lick of sense in IT has multiple, off-site backups of their images and business critical data. It may be expensive, but the one time you need it, it’s priceless.

You can learn a lot more from a hard drive than what's in the current set of files. There are ways of getting to the deleted stuff, even if it's been over-written.

Which is why I use "Windows Washer" from Webroot with the "bleach" setting which overwrites deleted files ten times - not even the NSA is recovering from that.

Probably has something to do with the number you push to talk on the phone.

Or if you are nefarious enough, just store the data on a PGP encrypted drive. As far as I know, the feds have never cracked Kevin Mitnick’s laptop.

I don’t even want to know how you got that. Okay, I lied. I do.

Here's the full-res from the security camera, with audio...

My husband is an o/o contracted to Swift. He has worked for them for over ten years. He also used to be a trainer, and I’ll have to say he’s told me some hair raising stories. He works out of the Lathrop terminal and these students he trains can’t hardly change gears much less read a map. But the most scary part about these alleged students is they pass a driving test through a third party, who signs them off, and not through the dmv (makes you wonder). I’d speculate someones palm gets greased real good. So many of them are not qualified to drive anything bigger than a bicycle, forget about a big rig. He knows within the first few hours if they know how to drive a truck. Unfortunately, most of the time he kicks them off because they don’t know their butt from a hole in the ground. He really knows how to piss off the office when he turns the students back in. He did occassionally get a student who was good, but the bad ones were plentiful.

PGP is nice, but too many people suspect that it is a construct of the NSA. If I need to really encrypt anything I use a 256bit encryption with a one time cipher. Not even Fort Meade is busting that.

Yes and some people believe that we never landed on the moon. In addition to PGP there's also a pretty nice app called Truecrypt.

I don’t wish to sound tinfoil, but if there is a question about an encryption method and there are more secure methods readily available, why risk it?
