This is nothing new, and it’s been building for years. Marshall Tito kept a lid on the pressure cooker with his dictatorship, but once he died and the Wall came down, all hell of religious and ethnic differences broke loose.
But the United Stets and NATO didn’t have to take the side of evil no matter what happened.

Actually, the same thing happened in Iraq, truth be told. As well as in Lebanon. Some countries are just totally fractured by their minorities, ethnic and religious differences. The question is, how far down can you fracture a country, into how small of a part to accomodate all of your minority or religious differences? Heck, Russia itself is comprised of a zillion ethnic and religious minorities. As is India and China.
It’s kind of funny, but the U.S., comprised of every religious and ethnic group you can think of, as we are a melting pot, actually has a more homogeneous population, an American quality, then many others. Weird, out of many, one. Won’t last though, the way things are going currently. Unassimilated new immigrants with no ideological ties to our country anymore. Their loyalties, for too many, lie with their home countries nowadays.

Using this precedent the mexican population in the southwest could justify a guerilla style insurrection campaign. The United Nations could support that insurrection and that would lead to a bloody struggle.

Well said! I agree. I have seen no justification for the Clinton initiative to kill Serbs. Since we bombed and destroyed all the bridges across the Danube, killing thousands of civilians, many of us are scratching our heads wondering why Albright and Clinton have not been brought to justice for their criminal behavior. It is beyond me why the USA would kill Christians to help create another Islamofacist nation. Furthermore, it is beyond me why the current Administration supports such a plain stupid policy!

Crazy is the nice word for aiding and abetting Jihad. Insanity is a more appropriate word, but Suicidal is the correct word.
This will be spun many ways, but it will come back to bite and draw blood.
The Serbs should all move immediately to a region of Kosovo where they are the majority and get the “refugee gig” going. Of course Serbia should not offer to help them in anyway other than incite them to be a thorn in the side of Kosovo.
The Serbs can then get out their cameras and start filming propaganda and fauxtography of innocent Serbian children being bombed and the elderly being mistreated. They are going to need a Serbian Arafat and some really cool ninja outfits.
A TV station is a must and disturbing children’s programming is even more imperative. If they think I am stirring them wrongly all they need to do is look at the “Palestinians”. The fake refugee is a good gig. The Serbs just need to step up the drama and wait for the foreign aid dollars to roll in. They need to start thug clubs with cool names like the Binac Monastery Brigade and start naming any site a Serbian has even thought about as a holy site. If a Muslim tries to open so much as a coffee shop the Serbs must immediately claim it is being built on holy site #21,497 (or appropriate number). All is needed after all that is done is just to sit back and rake in the foreign aid dollars......../Sarc
I think, when you peel all the BS away, historians will find that Saudi/Gulf State $$ was behind this decisions. We have been spending like drunken sailors. The Gulf State $$ helps bail us out from our freckless decisions. This was payback pure and simple—throw the Muslims a bone in a place where no one thinks it will make a difference. Israel is next on the chopping block—bank on it.

Actually, Tito encouraged the displacement of Serbs from Kosovo so we’re actually supporting an old Communist plot.

Insanity. Starting with Bubba Clinton’s misguided war in support of the Kosovo moslems against the Serb Christians, compunded by NATO’s inept “peace keeping” that punishes the Serbs and encourages the moslem Kosovars, and now recognizing the disolution of Serbia in favor of a new moslem nation on Europe’s soft underbelly all shouts loudly INSANITY!
