Just came across this thread referenced from another and read your post. Take a look at the Saiga as well, .308 with AK reliability. Not a tack driver, but a really well constructed combat quality rifle. F.Y.I. Less expensive.

Cool. Thanks. The link didn’t work, but I found it on my own. I like the 12 ga shotgun too. Now I’ve got even more to think about.
