Shouldn’t this show be on the Pre-History Channel?

Thank you for your post — very interesting. Time may have been created in the Big Bang, but what was there before the Big Bang? Should we assume that God, too, was created in the Big Bang? If not, where, when and why did God come about?
To: Continental Soldier
What was there before the alleged Big Bang? According to current conventional thinking time was created with the big bang.
So there was no "before" before the big bang.
Everything about the universe seems to circle back on itself, including human reasoning.
It seems a perfect, self-contained prison.

Time may have been created in the Big Bang, but what was there before the Big Bang?If time was created in the Big Bang, time itself does not exist before that because there is no "before". You can't have a "before" without a reference to a time scale. And since there is no time scale to refernce, there is no "before." It doesn't exist. Just like there is nothing north of the north pole. There is no time before time was created.
Should we assume that God, too, was created in the Big Bang? If not, where, when and why did God come about?
That's a theological question -- not a science question. You could just as easily as your pastor/priest/rabbi/imam the old Sunday school question: "If God created earth and man, then who created God?" Modern science postulates nothing before the Big Bang and Judeo-Christian-Islamic theology postulates nothing before God. At least that I know of anyway. Do you know who created God?

“Do you know who created God?”
Yes, I do. But I can’t tell you because it’s a secret. ;)

Yes, I do. But I cant tell you because its a secret. ;)Let me guess. I can only find out if I get audited to find my Thetan level (for a fee), purchase lectures to go up a grade at a time and only when I'm finally at OT 21 will you reveal the true secret of Xenu.

Turtles, all the way down.
See the TURTLE of enormous girth!
On his shell he holds the earth.
His thought is slow but always kind;
He holds us all within his mind.
"On his back all vows are made;
He sees the truth but mayn't aid.
He loves the land and loves the sea,
And even loves a child like me.

Then, BBQ’s were invented, and the first bad idea came about thusly: “hold my beer and watch this!”
And mankind discovered ER wards.
*slaps self repeatedly.
Sorry ‘bout that.

BBQ’s, and highly combustible materials go hand in hand with my family.
(Usually with extremely forceful results. The flying Weber Kettle will always be a cherished memory.)

It wouldn't be a BBQ without them, would it? My family just seems to specialize in catching kitchens on fire. Not me, though....(for some reason I have an innate fear of the combination of fire and sleep) LOL
