It's probably no surprise to most of you that Ben & Jerry have endorsed Barack Obama for president. To honor Senator Obama (see following article), GeorgiaDawg32 invited us to suggest new ice cream flavors that we think Ben and Jerry should issue to commemorate this auspicious occasion. See
Thanks to a number of us at FR, a list of our top 25 suggestions has been compiled and is being made available to Ben and Jerry to help them in this endeavor. Maybe you have some additions to the list?

Ben and Jerry Endorse Barack Obama for President

Burlington, VT Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, co-founders of Ben and Jerry's, publically announced their endorsement of Barack Obama for President today. Joined by U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, the former John Edwards supporters said they believe Barack Obama is the best candidate to unite America and finally tackle the challenges facing our nation. "Barack Obama believes that the special interests in Washington shouldn't drown out the voices and basic needs of Americans," Greenfield said. "When Barack Obama is President, we will finally have a president who is committed to ensuring all Americans have access to affordable health care and our children get the education they deserve."
Senator Leahy unveiled a 60-second radio ad, entitled "Important" which he and his wife Marcelle recorded in support of Senator Obama. The ad, which will begin airing on Wednesday, February 18, stresses Obama's judgment to lead and ability to bring real change we can believe in.
Ben and Jerry, along with Senator Leahy, drove to American Flatbread in Burlington in "ObamaMobiles" which they designed to help get out the vote for Vermont's March 4th primary. Said Cohen, "The ObamaMobiles are true vehicles for change. There's a lot at stake in this election. All Vermonters need to make their voices heard and vote."

By endorsing Obama shouldn’t Ben and Jerry now offer all their ice cream for free? Obama makes everything free.
Hysterical. I like #7..
For Obama’s flavor they should just serve shaved ice...
...and then you can imagine that it’s whatever flavor you want it to be.
If he goes kowtows to the Chi-Coms - Butter Peking.
Arghh! First rule of comedy - get the punchline right!
This is so unfair and undemocratic of Ben & Jerry’s! Hillary should get her own ice cream as well. How about “Big Tub O’Lard”, “Pasty White Vanilla”, or “Minty Mean Green Political Machine”?
26. The Audacity of Taupe
27. S’More GubMint
Someone on another thread suggested anti-Christ Crunch. That should be on the list.
Commie Caramel Surprise
!
I like #13.
ROTFL! That one must be added.
Just one more reason(s) to avoid ingesting any of this fat filled, sugary junk food, called Ben and Jerry’s quick route to diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
The humor is about playing the race card, not race. It is taken entirely in the wrong spirit if you label it racist.
He will institute a National Ice Cream plan for all Americans after creating a National BJ tax to pay for it.
What about...”Pinko Bubblegum”? or “Mocha Marxist Mayhem”? or “Stalinberry Crunch”?
I think I know racism when I see it. You can’t blame others for racism and participate in it yourself.
