Just went to Merriam Webster online dictionary to look up a word. And on the page where the word definition is, appears an ad for Stanley’s little boy. The word: mulatto. Now that’s a word you’ll never see used although it is entirely proper in his racial context. But I bet some heads would explode.

When I was attending US Army Ranger School (About 150 years ago) one of my squad members had tan colored skin. I asked him if he was Indian. He replied that he was a mulatto. I had to ask him what that meant.
