He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. Hmmm... Saw the Powers flick, BTW. Nightmare Alley was an amusing look at a hard-scrabble hustler who, after taking from everyone around him in his little carny world, reached for the big money trying to con the very rich with spiritualism, only to find psychology had beat him to it in the form of a femme fatale legit psychologist who took him to the cleaners. A very cynical movie; I can see why this Spengler chap liked it so much. But to borrow a cue from the movie, I think (let's hope so, anyway, 'cause he's better than even money to be the next POTUS!)he is projecting his hatred of America on O'bambi. Michelle Obama said she was never proud of America until her husband’s campaign for the presidency.

The two of them hate America. When Obama gives his speeches they ring hollow with hope and change. He doesn’t mention America’s rich history and our good points. They are totally irrelevant to him.

All he cares about is power, not the mantle of the presidency as a leader who will help guide America into its ever-brightening future. All he can see is his four years in office... not the dawning of a new and stronger decade in American history. America will only be good if he is in office, not if Americans believe that we are the greatest nation in the world. We love America. Obama doesn’t know what it means to love anything other than his ego.
