Of the 9.9 million barrels a day in total crude imports to the United States as of November, 1.9 million came from Canada. Saudi Arabia was second at 1.5 million barrels.

Hmm. I thought Mexico and Venezuela were ahead of Saudi Arabia as exporters of oil to the US.

No, although I have heard that claimed before it isn’t true.

But Mexico moves ahead of Saudi Arabia when you include all refined products in addition to the oil we refine in the US.
