What about his white grandparents in Hawaii that raised him? Are they dead?

I don’t know if his mother’s parents are alive or dead, haven’t heard anything about them. I know that his half-sister campaigned for him in Hawaii, but no mention was made of the grandparents. Anyone have data on this?
