Good point. And Scotland is not only heavily welfare-dependent, the birth-rate has collapsed and the population is rapidly shrinking.

I was in Glasgow and some other places in Scotland last year on business.

Most folks are generally happy eeking out a living doing something however it does not radiate with hope and opportunity like America.
