“McCain was my 10th choice.”
I’m with ya man. McPain wasn’t my 1st choice and about a month or so ago I was downright depressed with the way the Primary was going.
I’ve come around a bit and to be honest I expect McCain will be a fine Prez. Especially considering the alternatives.
The more I think about it, I’m convinced that he was/is our only shot this go round. We had to have someone who is percieved as a “moderate”.
I think he’s been purposefully crossing the line for exactly this reason. Maybe he thought McFeingold would fail, and new McShamnesty would go down in flames. I dunno, for most of his career he votes my way, alot more than not.
Anyway, I’m thinking a McCain Presidency is going to be alot more conservative than many think. My two pennies tonight -
Agreed-I am so far right, I think Ronald Magnus was soft on the commies. McCain is...tolerable. Gven his opponents, there simply is no choice but to cut a check and cast my vote.
