Great article. I was in college not too long ago and I remember being forced to attend a "date rape" indoctrination session. I had an argument with the dyke giving the presenation about whether it is rape to have consensual sex with a drunk girl. "She can't give consent," the dyke said. Yeah, but she chose to get drunk, I would add, and if she's at a frat party, she ought to know what that implies. Why are you treating adult college women like little girls? The dyke had no answer. Most of the kids in the session agreed with me.

At any rate, I didn't have anything to worry about because I never found piss drunk girls attractive. Sex with a girl who can barely walk and is puking all over the place was never my idea of a good time.

Actually at these colleges, a lot of girls get so drunk they can’t say “yes” or “no”, and that is the real problem!

No, the real problem is that they say "yes," in a very slurred manner, and then cry rape the next morning. It doesn't happen all that often, but it does happen.

“If a lesbian performs oral sex on an unwilling transgendered being, and if that being couldn’t remember which sex it started out as, in it’s beginning, would that act qualify as justification to call the rape line?”

If Michael Jackson masturbates, is that interracial sex?

In th mid 90’s as I was finishing my degree, the wife of a friend (both also college students) who had obviously bought into the “drunken sex is rape” B.S. was writing a paper by presenting tow pictures and asking whether the dress of young woman showed that she was “asking for it”. I took her survey but unloaded on her the fact that young women dress in a certain way in order to get attention from males. I basically told her that if you aren’t wanting to fish, don’t put out bait.

By the same stupid logic, he can't be a rapist, because he's drunk too. To her, obviously, alcohol, erases judgment and responsibility.

But, who does these laws protect and why. I would assume that the majority of males in these circumstances are also drunk, and end up doing things that they normally wouldn’t have done. So, if both parties are drunk who raped whom?

Additionally, anytime that you create a law that strips a person of their right to consent you are demeaning them to a lesser role in society. While these laws “protect” women from accidentally consenting when they normally wouldn’t, these laws actually strip women of their adulthood. Under the logic of these laws, anytime a woman takes a drink, she is no longer a rational person who can make decisions. These laws don’t protect, they merely demean.

I knew one girl years ago who worked a campus rape center.

She hated it, while her experience was probably not the norm, and was weird, she did have a good point.

"Rape victims call cops, not us".

The reason she hated the job was that she claimed the girls in the sororities were prank calling the call center and harassing them and mocking them.

She never got why they did it, except to tell me what the sorority girls told them.

Then stay away from the Johnnie Walker Blue!

I only use Blue on special occasions.

For example, when I go to vote for mcpain, I'll self medicate on Blue, and when I return, I'll finish the job with Black.

A lot of urban universities are near bad neighborhoods.

The day I was born, my father was almost beaten to death in by a bunch of young black thugs in a laundromat near the University of Chicago. He said that police arrested an old black wino and asked him if that was who had done it. The message he wanted me to remember was that the police were racist, God rest him.

In spite of my upbringing I did learn enough sense to stay away from bad neighborhoods and be wary of potential young thugs and pay attention to inner alarms. Although I did wander along the railroad tracks in Cambridge to pick wildflowers and birdwatch while I was there - was nature-deprived. Not far from the housing projects. Never saw anyone but me on the tracks, luckily.

Man, do I have a lot to teach my daughters - and my boys too, I guess - before they go off to college. My oldest girl always says, “Why are you telling me this? I know.” But she really doesn’t.

DOJ statistics show that you are almost HALF of all rapes are committed by black males. A large portion of those (nearly half IIRC) of which are against white women. You won’t hear Fat Alfred repeating that anywhere.

That's the feminist mentality right there -

They don't want equal rights for women - they want only rights for women with no responsibility.

Consider the whole abortion argument. If she wants to abort it's HER BODY. If she wants to keep it it's HIS responsibility. To which I say sweetie, if it's your body, your choice when you made out, took off your clothes, and did the deed, it's STILL your body after you're facing a pregnancy that YOU created.

If I get so drunk that I loan $100 to a total stranger on the street, can I accuse that person of robbery because he accepted money from somebody who was too drunk to consent to a loan?

A woman who drinks and drives is held fully responsible for any consequences of her impaired judgment. Why should a woman who drinks and parties be held to a lower standard?

Nobody should allow herself (or himself) to get so drunk that they have grossly impaired judgement

If they are both drunk, which one is the rapist?

Do only women get drunk? Or do only women have the right to consent? Are men just sex crazed pigs who can never say no? Do these laws protect all drunk people who have sex, or only women?

If the laws only protect women, then they perpetuate stereotypes about the inferiority of women as a sex and of men as animals. Also, you still haven’t explained how the laws operate if both the male and female are drunk - who raped whom?
