I am not a supporter of McCain. I'm hoping he picks a good VP candidate so that he can have a path back to conservatism.

The problem here is that pie in the sky is not one of the choices. By being determined to not "settle" we have painted ourselves into a corner where we have to choose between bad and much worse or let the "american idol" crowd pick for us.

Elections have consequences (remember 2006?).
