This is SOP for McCain - try to paint himself as whiter than white and preaching for "campaign finance reform" while taking trips around the country in corporate jets (Paxson and BellSouth are the two I know of, there have to be more) to speak at fundraisers, while reimbursing the corporation for two first class round trip tickets between Washington and whereever. Also, it just so happens that these companies have business before and are under the legislative aegis of the Senate Commerce Committee/Telecommunications Subcommittee, of which McCain was chairman and is still ranking member.
Doesn't it just make you feel good how McCain is taking the money out of politics?
Especially the wrong kind - the money which can tell the truth about his hypocrisy.
What am I missing here? McCain’s own deposition admits that he had communications w/ Paxson over this issue, and promised to write a letter urging a decision over the business. Now McCain’s campaign (and the former associate of Paxson) are saying he didn’t? I must be missing something if they are flat-out denying it when there’s a deposition of McCain’s on record that directly contradicts it.
