Her staff should be doing behind the scenes stuff with the southern super-delegates (you really want to head into November with a black, crack-snorting candidate?) without going public. She doesn't want anything to knock this off the front page.
The one thing she DOESN'T want to do is get in front of this freight train. Anything she does pulls the heat off Obama and makes people think about Billy Boy. The thing is, Hillary is probably a lesbian but she's kept it quiet. She's got the gay vote. Obama starts to implode, the money comes back to Hillary, and she is the "comeback kid" again. The one thing she DOESN'T do is insert herself into this story in any way, at least no way that leaves fingerprints or lets Obama off the hook.
