I read the Globe story- they make it pretty clear they don’t believe Sinclair, they say their research shows he’s gone to jail for fraud and that Obama has been a womanizer since high school.
Sinclair needs to have the limo driver back up his story if he wants to be belived. He keeps saying he’ll be coming forward but until he does he won’t be believed, and rightly so given his history of fraud.
For those inclined to believe a lying marxist politician over a drug dealer/petty criminal, nothing will ever convince them, I assure you.

I’m a pretty good BS detector. I listened to 3 interviews with Sinclair. I will tell you there is a better than 50/50 chance he is being truthful. But you are right. If he does not produce anything more than the polygraph and hotel receipts, Obama can likely ignore this and skate. Unless, of course, others start popping out of the woodwork as well.

I am willing to reserve judgment pending the limo driver being produced or not produced.
But something is a bit grating to me that some loser with a brain tumor and three fraud and drug dealing convictions can get all this publicity without any proof other than his own words. In my view, this guy should be ranting in obscurity *until* he can produce the limo driver. You just don’t give the benefit of the doubt to a guy who has been sent to jail for fraud. People like that get desperate and they think “what can I do to get some money?” and this story is consistent with such a scheme.
Sinclair’s excited comment that “I signed my first autograph tonight” also suggests that he enjoys the notoriety. This is a guy who was an utter nobody a month ago.

This story will certainly make its way into the foreign press any day now, and if Sinclair is determined to be truthful from the results of his polygraph, the US press will no longer be able to spike it. Then, finally, Drudge might even run with it.

Au contraire, mon frère. Hillary should let Obama twist in the wind and she should lay low while he implodes. Her staff should be doing behind the scenes stuff with the southern super-delegates (you really want to head into November with a black, crack-snorting candidate?) without going public. She doesn't want anything to knock this off the front page.
The one thing she DOESN'T want to do is get in front of this freight train. Anything she does pulls the heat off Obama and makes people think about Billy Boy. The thing is, Hillary is probably a lesbian but she's kept it quiet. She's got the gay vote. Obama starts to implode, the money comes back to Hillary, and she is the "comeback kid" again. The one thing she DOESN'T do is insert herself into this story in any way, at least no way that leaves fingerprints or lets Obama off the hook.
They're on a par credibility-wise, although the Globe is a little more objective and has higher journalistic standards.
At this point it is a he said/she said (denial by ignoring it) situation. We have a random petty criminal who admits his drug use and sexual preferences and shady past versus a random, leftist politician who only admitted to drug use as a youngster but who has ties to other shady characters from domestic terrorists to crooked developers, who is actively “investigating” the accuser and who is known to have lied more than a few times.
If it was 100% untrue, no investigation would be necessary would it? A simple blanket denial would suffice. He can have his campaign say they never heard of Sinclair, Obama never met him, and he never used drugs past his college days.
the problem is that every major news organization is fully aware of the story as it is now. But they don’t run this type of thing on libs.
