How original. Yawn. Did she major in political correctness?
I knew it!
Thank goodness it is only February.
Good job, Politico.
“further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.”
I guess taking a few 200K+/year do-nothing jobs helped her to get over never becoming a full participant.
great find!

MASSIVE chip on her shoulder from “the man” keeping her down. This is the last person in the world who should be anywhere near the White House. Except for her husband and the Clintons.
Cindy McCain’s thesis was more succinct:
She’s ALWAYS been proud of her country.
To the credit of the Obama campaign (that’s a phrase I’ve never written or said before), it was they who made the decision to release the thesis.
This poorly written garbage makes the cut at Princeton? My high school English teacher would have given this paper a C-.
My conclusion: Obama will be easy to roll!
Only goes to show she should have gone to a black school to get in touch with her blackness.
Interesting a liberal, rich, majority white school would increase her race apartheid rather than blurring the lines as such schools claim to do.
probably because that is how you see yourself and how you present yourself to others. To wit: your thesis.
I will say now that I hardly care about what the presidential candidate wrote as a college student, unless he is espousing the same notions today.
The college writings of the “1st lady”? It looks petty even asking — and we just gave the Obama campaign a coup by insisting it was important, because now they freely offered the paper, so we look childish and petty.
I don’t know much about the political game, and it scares me how little some others who are supposed to understand the game seem to understand it sometimes.
This is very much like Hillary making a deal out of what Obama said in a primary school paper about wanting to be President (which in my opinion was the beginning of the end of her campaign, although it wasn’t seen that way at the time).
This is college level work?

“Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton’s (1967) developed definitions of separationism in their discussion of “Black Power” which guided me in the formulation and use of this concept in the study.”
Interesting page....
Michelle, spare us the Princeton Victim Syndrome drama!
Thesis? or Diatribe?
I can’t think of a single college professor who wouldn’t have knocked me out of my chair for such rambling drivel.
