What did they do, hit one of those dreaded out-of-control SUVs on the runway?

Very likely, they hit wake turbulence from the B-2 that took off just ahead of them, and it made them roll enough to catch a wing-tip. The pilots would eject as their aircraft slid and started to break up.

Wake turbulence was my first thought too based on the early report, however, I recall these planes aren’t known for being exceedingly sturdy either.
