Actually the fork in stomach and eating dinner with the corpses refers to the LaBianca murders that took place after the Tate murders. Leno LaBianca had the fork stuck in his stomach. Still, horrifying stuff to be exaulting.

I had read elsewhere of the life style of Ayers and Dohrn. I visualized and indeed without a touch of envy, all the good things that abound in the country they hated. Living in a comfortable residence, protected by, no doubt efficient policing. The best culinary delights. The excellence of superb medical care- one could go on.

It reminds me of the now outed traitors, in my own native country, England. The likes of Andrew Blunt and Melissa Norwood. Living in absolute upper middle-class comfort. Easing into oblivion with palliatives from the preferential medical care, their class gets.
