there is something self-destructive in western values taking place where houses/wealth/luxury is considered much more important than children and family.
There is going to be a rude awakening when most of the population is elderly.
On a bright note, recent news has France in the middle of a baby boom, as well as the US.
I wonder if the French baby boom is mostly from the Muslim immigrants like our’s is mostly a Hispanic phenomena. The Russians, however, had a birthrate higher in 2006 than in the last 25 years!
