So Obama grew up in the tropics and Bill grew up in the south. I don’t know where the wives grew up, but frankly I don’t think anyone who has not experienced northern winters on a limited budget knows what real life is like.

I was just trying to point out that Obama's experience is far removed from the image portrayed. He grew up with a grandfather and grandmothers (two parents); he lived as you said 'in paradise' as a bir-racial child in one of the most racially diverse places on earth. Yet he is protrayed as (being a Senator from Illinios) as a poor black kid from Chicago's mean streets. Its not true.

Ironically, both Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Obama are from the Chicago area.
