Perhaps you forget that parents were buying body armor for there children in Iraq and Afghanistan!! You may wish to visit this site for information on the Captain who was a Lt at the time of his deployment. Some of his platoon were reassigned before they deployed!!! Get the facts before casting a stone!!!

Sir, thank you for your service. I remember the body armor, as well as the controversy over dragon-skin vs. standard issue. I also had been personally involved with sending "Under-Armor" to the troops using privately raised money. To paraphrase, you go to war with the military you have, not the military you wish you had. Some things are FUBAR. It's easy to throw stones as BHO has done. I personally think the guy is clueless in most things that involve reality.
