McCain couldn’t WAIT to being it in to a debate himself. John is a pit bull, and would use ANYTHING to his advantage. This would play to his strength: military matters, of which Obama obviously has no knowledge of.

But...BHO has some pretty good handlers. And, with the furor over this incident, they will be telling him to toe the line on responses if it comes up in a debate setting. His likely response would be something like “In my administration, I will count on my military advisors and defer to them in matters such as this. After all, they are the experts.”
