The New York Slimes are going to unite the Republican Party behind John McCain, something he could never do on his own. If the economy holds up he will win in November, but it will take some sort of miracle for the economy to do well this year.

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if McCain himself didn't have something to do with this whole thing. Now, he can say he is a REAL conservative because the NYT is slamming him. I read where he is actually using this as a fundraising issue! He has already sent emails out to his supporters asking for money over it.
I'm with Rush on this, not surprised at all.
