So to paraphrase George Orwell, some vehicular manslaughter is more equal than others.
Are you here illegally?
Sorry, but you just flunked the logic exam.
Suppose I'm in charge of the prison system in your community. One day I illegally release a criminal. I arrange for him to get a job working for a friend of mine who needs cheap labor. This employer knows this man is a criminal who by law should be behind bars, but he doesn't report him to authorities because he likes paying low wages.
One day, this criminal crashes his vehicle into a car filled with your loved ones, killing several of them. An investigation reveals that he shouldn't have even been out on the roads. He should have been in prison, but I released him because I didn't want to be bothered with dealing with him. Likewise, the employer enabled him to stay around by paying him and protecting him.
Would your attitude be, "Golly, gee, I know I lost some loved ones here, but really, anyone could have been driving that car. It would be Orwellian to blame puroresu for illegally releasing him from prison. It would be Orwellian to blame that cheap employer who didn't turn him in. They are totally innocent in all this."
That wouldn't be your attitude at all, and you know it. But unless it hits home, you're going to continue to defend this criminality because of some personal benefit you derive from it (financial, romantic, who knows?). If thousands of Americans, including children, must die for your profit or amusement, so be it.
