Well, I just learned from listening to Bob Bennett that, when he was working for the Democrats investigating the Keating 5, that he actually concluded McCain (and Glenn) should not be pursued, and that he believes McCain is an “honest man”. I did not know this, and always assumed something more negative regarding McCain and the Keating 5. So, in a strange way, this whole broohaha resulted in giving me a more positive impression of McCain.

I watched the KEATING 5 and McCain was NO saint he was in it up to his eyeballs else he would have never been among the 5. Interesting now isn’t it that he was the only Republican involved in a democrat scandal, yet it is the liberals that lord McCain always takes their side. Come on now lord McCain tried to get JFKerry to choose him as his running mate.
