[history]
Early in Senator John McCains first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers.
A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, in his offices and aboard a clients corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself instructing staff members to block the womans access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.
When news organizations reported that Mr. McCain had written letters to government regulators on behalf of the lobbyists clients, the former campaign associates said, some aides feared for a time that attention would fall on her involvement.
Mr. McCain, 71, and the lobbyist, Vicki Iseman, 40, both say they never had a romantic relationship.

This is a non-story. This will have no effect on McCain’s chances. Neither of these two have said this is true.

Let me think...
now when Bill and Monica were caught, didn't Hill and Friends all say that Presidential sex scandals are all old hat. They ever said Jefferson, FDR and JFK got some strange and no one was hurt. Some even hinted it was traditional.
Perhaps Lanny Davis will come out for McCain and just repeat what he said in support of Bill's sexcipades!

Huckabee said he majored in miracles, is this what he meant?

This is an October surprise in Feb. Think about it, why is this hitting now, and who could it help the most? Michelle Obama's 'proud' comment wounded Obama.
Cindy McCain's looked good retorting to that remark. She looked like she would be a good asset to McCain's campaign.
Payback to Cindy and an attempt to get attention away from how Obama thinks of America.
Just my opinion.

Bye bye McCain Heh. Suuure it is. No sense waiting for some actual, oh what's the word... ~evidence~ or anything, huh?
I don't even see any real allegation that anything improper happened either romantically or ethically. All I see is word salad and buzzword bingo.

Of course they wait until the Conservatives drop out and the others in the running mathematically can’t get enough delegates.

Smart freakin serpent mediaWHORES, they were waiting for McPAIN to be the front runner . Also it takes Osama’s wife off the front pages too. BUT, this too can be a ray of light for us, perhaps Romney can get the nomination at the convention.....HMMMM. God works in mysterious ways!

Is the media really helping Obama with stuff like this so quickly? With McCain’s legendary temper, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take off the gloves when they go after Obama.

If this is the only thing they have on McCain, I would be very surprised it came out this early.
Best guess? This is a little tidbit. The best is being held to a later date.
Geesh. Glad I wasn’t going to cast my lot with him.
We all know the Dems are worse. But...remember, they aren’t counting on anyone with any kind of morals to vote for them.
