In this New Year of 2008, I pray to God for the safety of our troops, blessing, protection and wisdom for our President and leaders, forgiveness for our country, and a renewed sense of obedience to God's Ten Commandments, (which are basically Love God and Your Neighbor as Yourself,) healing for my sick friends, salvation for my lost friends and enemies, safety and blessing on my children, and some good roles for myself....roles, not rolls. Oh, and that my husband...oh, that's too personal. (TMI for the Internet.) And, thank you Lord, for your amazing creation of nature and our bodies and the stars and all the other mysterious wonders you have made. You are an awesome God. Your will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.

Open Letter to Joy Behar and Others Who Speak Like Her:
I'm really tired of your hatred rants against Pres. Bush. Have some respect for authority and for the people like me who voted for him. I did not vote for Bill Clinton, but I would never use my SNL connection to publicly criticize him and I would never speak of another human being with such vitriol. Pres. Bush did not start the war against America and he is doing a great job with the situation that was put upon him. Also, we do not have a king. Our system of government has checks and balances. Instead of complaining, why don't you take a political history course and run for office and see what good you can do for the world.
The tongue is a powerful little thing. Use it for some good.
Love,
VJ
P.S. I think you are very funny and quick witted when you're not hating people who think differently than you.
P.S.S. "Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity and a firm reliance on Him, who has never yet forsaken this favored land, are still competent to adjust...all our present difficulty." Abraham Lincoln (www.wallbuilders.com)
Thanks for posting this...you made my day
Bless her heart! I’m glad to see this. Always thought she was adorable and wondered whatever became of her.
I just read Steve Martin’s new autobiography “Born Standing Up”. Did you know he used to date Christian author/speaker Stormie Omartian? :)
Comedy is harder than drama as far as acting is concerned, and playing dumb is the hardest of all.
Tony Rosato, who had Capgras syndrome.
I just looked that up. Very bizzare disease.
seems this guy has been held in a jail without bail because he suffers from a diagnosed mental illness? wtf?
Tony better get himself a new lawyer.

It’s refreshing to know that not everyone who becomes famous in the media world, turns into an insulated little self absorbed dweeb, who has lost any grip on reality outside of Holly weird, and feels the overwhelming need to tell the world just how bad and misguided they think our nation is.
Thank you for introducing me to someone I’ve never seen before. I don’t watch TV or go to movies. I would like to see some of her work.
Oh mercy. Toonces is not even looking at the road! He always looked like he had been killed in one of his numerous automobile accidents and then just stuffed and stuck behind the wheel of a car.
She was good in Saturday Night Live; but a lot of that show has been pretty trashy all along. I don’t remember her as being very risque like some of them.
Her latest stuff that I’ve seen is a tape called “Thou Shalt Laugh” with Tim Conway (Tape 1 and Tape 2) on at least one of them. It was clean they were labeled “family enterainment” and so funny one would laugh until they hurt.
I agree she sounds like a stand up women. I commend her.
Your question does remind me of the best question I ever heard posed on a sports call in show. The host, a goofball, asked Pat Riley "If the Fred Flinstone knew the bronto ribs were so big they would tip the car over, why did he order them at the end of every show?"
Riley had no answer.
If only we knew of more like her. But that’s part of your point - most on our side doesn’t need to wear it on their sleeves.
I always wanted to know what kept the back “wheel” on. :)
well, yeah...unless you ARE dumb.
I am a damn convincing middle aged Irish guy. Othello, not so much. :-)
Wow. I didn’t see that one coming at all. It’s always nice to find a conservative in the acting world.
Dumb people can try to play dumb, but they can't be funny doing it.
