I’ve read similar comments by Obama supporters who apparently believe he will be the magic president. In fact I read such an article this morning in The St. Paul Pioneer Press. To wit he will be able to hold his supporters accountable for their behavior. How he would do this is left unexplained. These fools are in for huge letdown if he gets elected. Their lives won’t change a bit. Then what?

A few weeks ago, I thought Obama was just a more bombastic version of Jimmy Carter. Now, I'm wondering if he is a gentler version of Adolph Hitler.

Last night (and likely before- I just noticed it last night) he said- there will be college tuition $$ and/or credits available...then he said- this will not be FREE- you WILL pay it back by joining the Peace Corps, doing community service, etc., etc. Can this be called anything BUT socialism, verging on communism??

Of course, this is just re-hashed Carter II with untenable expectations.
But note, he has given himself an escape hatch: when change does not materialize, he will blame the people for the not sufficiently "changing from the bottom up."
