One can now see the toxic effects of NOT teaching history in the public school system. I’m home schooling my nephew and he is watching this election closely, let me tell you!
When we finished listening to an Obama speech two weeks ago I asked him, “what did that man just say?” He thought a moment and said, “Not much!” Watching all the admiring faces around Barack Obama reminds me of all the admiring faces turned up to Adolf Hitler. People then, as now, heard what they wanted to hear - platitudes. The ignorance of history, particularly our own, will be this nation’s undoing.
When I have kids they will be home-schooled or go to a military school.
