The maximum penalty now for bringing a gun across the border is 10 years in prison.
What is this? I’ve been out of America for many years now, is it illegal to take a gun across state lines?

so, if someone breaks into my home and steals my kitchen knife, and then...

I hope you know that this 2nd Amendment ruling coming this spring/summer will be against the 2nd Amendment. The 5 liberal judges are bought and paid for and will be told in no uncertain terms how to vote by the DNC and RNC. Come this fall, every state will be rushing to pass new gun control laws to virtually make it impossible to posses a firearm unless it is disassembled and encased in cement. "Use it or loose it" time is approaching quickly.
