A Bentonville High School math teacher faces two charges after being arrested in connection with inappropriate contact with students.
Melissa G. Monroe, 32 of Bella Vista, was arrested Tuesday for sexual assault in the second degree and knowingly furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Bentonville police began investigating after receiving information that Monroe had been involved in a sexual relationship with a male student, a police news release states.
Monroe is in the Benton County Jail awaiting a bond and probable-cause hearing. For full details, see Wednesday’s edition of The Daily Record.

I vote not guilty.
I knew a guy in middle school who sexually harassed a teacher. Then one day she called her husband and left her phone on and she leaves the room for one moment. He walks by the desk and picks it up and says something to the effect of “I’m the dude that is banging your wife.” Next thing you know, a really big ,angry gentleman is at the class door... It works both ways you know.

Just my opinion, but it really seems that a huge segment of this population has not matured, and will not do so any time in the near future. And it seems that these people gravitate to the Democrat party.
What amazes me is that 9 of 10 of the offenders in these cases are female. Considering that most sex crimes are committed by men, I wonder what it is about underage males that these female teachers find so alluring?

Yes, her eyes are 6.5” apart. Wow. Where was she in 1981-85 when I was in high school? Aside from the rodent like teeth I would have loved to have had her in my detention class as an instrument of the system inflicting pain on me.

Happened in my H.S. 20 years ago.
Plea down to a misdemeanor. Take up private tutoring.

It’s probably not that high, maybe more like 7 in 10. Then, again, what percentage of teachers in grades 5-12 are female, perhaps two-thirds?
