McCain wins Wisconsin per all news outlets. He is giving a great speech now.
McCain touched on the things I hold important, and I hope he repeats the elements in the speech manifold times.
Obama's speech, by contrast, waxed on with erroneous criticism of the Bush economy (I would almost bet that Obama has not taken so much as a course in traditional economics), he hawked the usual cognitively dissonant lies about the war, and (of course) he offered up "free lunches" as far as the eye can see.
I’ve lurked a while. Found a post by a McCain supporter needing a response, so had to sign up and respond.
Conservative politics doesn’t revolve around a single website, you know. I spend more time on online firearms forums. Another thing that kept me from signing up for quite some time- I’ve seen the “Day in the Life” threads. Ick.
Indeed, even the very concept of being a traitor had more nobility in it then, than most liberal trash have now.
Arnold was in the West Indies when the Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770, but later he wrote “very much shocked” and wondered “good God; are the Americans all asleep and tamely giving up their liberties, or are they all turned philosophers, that they don’t take immediate vengeance on such miscreants”.
Huh?
Something wrong with you?
Thanks for the rationalization.
The damage will be fast, severe and long lasting.
So either of the Democrats, are good for RKBA?
Is that it?
Hillary’s husband, if you recall, was the one who banned the SKS imports. Hillary’s a *huge* gun grabber.
Obama seems lockstep.
McCain doesn’t want to take your guns. He understand, perhaps better than most, why they’re important.
So what is to be gained, by now undermining McCain?...
I will vote for McCain if he requires his Supreme Court nominees to pledge to overturn McCain-Feingold. :-}
I had the distinct pleasure of early voting against McCain today.
What I thought is that you are an idiot. - Why are you trying to tell me these elementary and simple things?
You apparently do not have the intellect to understand my post that clearly stated that I have no idea why you are directing your post about islam to me.
Do you understand my question now? Or am I being too obscure for you?
Is that it?”
Where did I say that? Huh?
“Hillarys husband, if you recall, was the one who banned the SKS imports. Hillarys a *huge* gun grabber.”
Yes, and Bush hasn’t been much of a friend of the gun owner either. Has he rescinded any of Clinton’s or his father’s anti-gun EOs?
As for McCain: http://www.gunowners.org/mccaintb.htm
My view is that Conservatives have lost the Presidential race. Soros won.
Amen to your post.
Our Supreme Court is one voice short of certain death to abortion on demand in this country. Obama and Clinton are committed baby killers. More than 42 Million dead babies and counting must stop and the climate is right. Stevens is on life support and Ginsberg isn’t the healthiest. The next president will get two picks in his/her first term. We CONSERVATIVES must vote to end this abomination.
Now THAT would truly be "a great speech," IMO.
America can survive four years of John McCain.
Heck, he might even turn out to be a good president. After tonight’s speech, I think that’s possible.
America might not survive, a tidal wave of socialist mania.
It’s time to get over things. McCain won. I didn’t want him originally, but he’s a da*n sight better than either of the alternatives.
Buck it up. It’s time for everyone to quit throwing temper tantrums, and set about winning the Whitehouse this year.
Have you heard about the new GOP website by former Freepers
for McCain (and sensibility)?
By supporting John McCain?
I don't know whether to laugh or cry...
Your whole post is ridiculous.
Comparing McCain to Hitler puts you in the category of kook.
Take you meds and lie down.
Appears to be a crossover in the thread on referencing.
Heck, he might even turn out to be a good president. After tonights speech, I think thats possible.”
Can it? His insane liberal policies would not be opposed by his own party in Congress and the Dems would be just peachy with them. Just like they’ve supported Bush in his increasingly liberal leanings.
Maybe if he had a vigorous (demanding) conservative VP who expected to win in 4 years, but if he picks a party type like he is, that isn’t likely to happen....
“Buck it up. Its time for everyone to quit throwing temper tantrums, and set about winning the Whitehouse this year.”
Winning? We’ve already lost. The Soros funded candidates won (yes, that includes McCain).
You really do sound like James Carville, you know...
Carville likes liberals.
I don’t.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry...
Me neither after reading your response. You think I LIKE having to choose to support McCain? I don’t. I am trusting in my faith that if McCain is elected he will appoint an Alito or Roberts type justice. It is FACT with Obama and Clinton we will get another Ginsberg.
