Nah, the Constitution party is for the birds. They think like Ron Paul does when it comes to the war on terror.
The CP (originally the "Taxpayers' Party") was created to serve as a front for the John Birch Society and the Rushdoony/Gary North "reconstruction" movement, and that's the way its leadership thinks. However, I've heard that at the grassroots there are many people who don't share this "palaeo" outlook. Many rank-and-file members are pro-Israel and it has even had some pro-Israel candidates here and there (Bob Dornan eg).
It would be nice if the CP could be taken from its Birch/reconstructionist/"palaeo" rulers and made a genuine grassroots conservative party. But this may not be possible.
