Ehhh, I dunno about that. While I am extremely proud of my uncles and their service to this country, along with the millions of others who served and sacrificed in WWII, I know many others who were every bit as heroic in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf, Beruit, Bosnia, Somolia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and several others I know I’ve missed, and probably some other places we will never know about. I personally know several young people who have joined the military in the past couple of years, knowing full-well what they are likely facing, and I can’t help but get a huge lump in my throat, and a tear in my eye, and be just as proud of them as I am of my uncles. True Americans rise to the need now, just as they did then...
