Well folks, the stage has been set for the dismantling of the United States of America. As soon as the Mexicans have become the majority in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, they can declare "independence" ala Kosovo. According to the Kosovo experience a people can infiltrate a country (such as Mexicans are doing to USA today) and as soon as they are a majority they can separate themselves from host nation by declaring "independence".

I wonder if Washington will recognize the new nation of Atzlan once the SW states separate from America.

Serbia may yet reclaim Kosovo with the help of Russia, but America will never reclaim the SW states from Mexico. Once they are lost to America, they will be gone for ever. Bush is a fool or corrupt for recognizing the independence of Kosovo.

I disagree. The US already fought a war to dtermine whether or not states may succede from the Union.

There will always be people (nutty people) who would want to break away from the greatest nation on earth. The vast majority will not want to do this.
