Is there a spinning hour glass on PC machine anymore? I look at one every day and have not seen it.

XP has an hourglass pointer. The default hourglass pointer is not animated.

If you add more RAM you will seldom see either the spinning beach ball on the Mac or the spinning hour glass on pc...since the system no longer needs to use the swapfile on the hard drive as often.
