This “letter” is probably nonsense. Nevertheless, after having read around a hundred books on the assassination, I remain convinced there was a conspriacy.
Posner’s book “Case Closed” has been severely debunked by a number of authors. Kennedy was living a wreckless personal life in the early sixties (cultural fifties), being blackmailed into supporting the TFX jetfighter, among other things.
When he refused to close the deal on Castro at the Bay of Pigs he was a marked man. I cannot convince you with this post, I know that, if you are intersted you need to do the reading.
One fact new to me I found out just last year: Kenny O’Donnel, JFK’s close personal friend and aid was in the car behind him; O’Donnel told the FBI at Parkland hospital that he was certain some shots came from the front. The FBI told him he was mistaken. He was also told if he kept to that story he would just make trouble for the family.
O’Donnel drank himself to death.
Who debunked Posner’s book? I thought it was dadgum convincing.
I think the FBI and CIA wanted JFK out. The FBI because Hoover thought blacks would gravitate toward communism if given too much power, and the CIA because of the domino theory regarding Vietnam. They wanted JFK out and Johnson provided the contacts through sol Estes, having successfully murdered Henry Marshall before. Oswald = patsy, and had to be killed before he could prove his innocence.
