Perhaps but life in California under the Governator is certainly better than we had with Gray Davis. He was a disaster. This is the Left Coast after all and I think we are just going to have to go through a leftist phase in this country until we collectively come to our senses. Personally I would rather suffer with the left leaning Republicans than the hopelessly far left Dems. Just MHO.
NO!
It is NOT!
Arnold has been a fiscal disaster, borrowing gazillions more than Gray Davis. Under Davis, Republicans were able to block legislation that required a super-majority. Under Schwarzenegger, he has twisted the arms of the minimum number of legislators(R) to get his reckless programs passed. He has been the most pro-homosexual Governor in history, passing at least 10 separate pieces of legislation giving all the rights of marriage to homosexuals and infesting the school system with mandated programs and anti-"gender" "hate" crimes. He has pushed the most destructive global warming legislation that hinders energy production and will make businesses less competitive. He has implemented and supported programs that increase taxes and fees such as the $6 billion embryonic stem-cell research initiative, $3 billion for "solar roofs," etc. etc. etc. He has appointed leftist judges throughout the state. He has placed 1/5 of the States land under a conservancy, further infringing on property rights (legislation that Gray Davis vetoed). And there is MORE!
Schwarzenegger has been a disaster--passing legislation that a Democrat could have only dreamed about! He has been MUCH WORSE than Gray Davis. And, despite his continued liberal actions, Republicans are STILL being told by party operatives to support this Trojan Horse!
McCain will do more of the SAME!
Please tell us how?
Personally I would rather suffer with the left leaning Republicans than the hopelessly far left Dems.
You haven't been paying attention. Arnold is not "left leaning" he is an extreme leftist in every sense of the word. The only difference is that he's preaching his liberalism under the mantra of a "Republican". That is far more damaging.
